LEWISTON, Idaho – Coach Mike Collins announced on Tuesday that Abigail Peightal from Timberlake High School has signed to run for the Warriors next year.
 
"Abi has a great resume in running," Collins said. "She finished in the top-10 at the State Championships all four years of high school with a personal best time of 19:17 for the 5000m. In track, she has qualified for State all three years in the 1600 and the 3200, placing fifth in both events last year."
 
"It will be exciting to see her as she enters her final season of high school track. She comes from a well-run high school program with a coach (Shawn Lawler) that has a team philosophy similar to our own, so there is no doubt she will meld into what we do here very quickly," Collins said. "She has been a part of a great history of team success at Timberlake with the Tigers finishing outside of the top-four only once during her span there. We are excited to have her and believe she will have an impact on our own goals of stepping on the podium this next year."
