LEWISTON, Idaho – The Lewis-Clark State Cross Country program had a strong season in the fall, and their successes translated in the classroom as well. 15 Warriors, eight men and seven women, earned Frontier Academic All-Conference honors on Friday, the most of any school in the conference.
"We are pleased that we are performing in the classroom at a high level, as well as in competition," coach
Mike Collins said.
On the men's side, seniors Dontae Baker,
Jonny Handel and
Dylan Johnson were joined by junior
Karl Lundgren and sophomores
Cooper Haney,
Cole Olsen,
Colton Smith and
Thomas Weakland.
For the women, seniors
Natalie Herring and
Rebecca Saxton earned the honor along with junior
Jamey Weishaar and sophomores
Emily Adams,
Jessiny Howard,
Jacinta Kuther and
Evelin Lopez.
