Mike Collins announced the signing of two student-athletes for the 2019 cross country season. Carli Jones, a senior at Kamiakin High School in Kennewick, Wash., and Kelsey Henry, a senior at Valley High School in Hazelton, Idaho have signed with the Warriors.
"Both girls are going to come in and be contributors to our program and make us better," Collins said. "We are looking forward to making another drive to win a conference title again this fall and another top-10 national performance. Both Carli and Kelsey are going to help make the team better in trying to achieve these goals."
Jones is a two-time Washington State qualifier in cross country with a personal-best of 20:16 in the 5K race. Other personal-records include 5:48 in the 1600m and 12:08 in the 3200m.
Henry has qualified for State and medaled all four years with Valley High School cross country. Her personal-best in the 5K is 21:04.
