WHITEFISH, Montana — After claiming the top spot and helping the Warriors to a first-place team finish at the Frontier Conference Preview, junior Chase Barrow was named the Frontier Conference Cross Country Runner of the Week.
"I am excited for Chase. He is a very team oriented and motivating figure on our team," coach Mike Collins said. "As a JC transfer it can often be challenging to meld into a new program, but he has done this extremely well. He is making the team better with his own performances and is making those around him better. He is a great addition to our family and I couldn't be happier for him."
At the Frontier Conference Preview, Barrow owned the top spot in the field of 69. He posted a time of 26:45.20 to earn his first win as a Warrior. Teammates Cole Olsen and Clayton VanDyke both finished in the top four to help the Warriors claim 27 points.
The Warriors continue their season at The Master's Invitational on September 28.
