LEWISTON, Idaho – Lewis-Clark State Cross Country head coach
Mike Collins announced the latest addition to the Warrior running family in Post Falls, Idaho's Brycen Kempton.
Kempton will graduate from Post Falls High School this spring. A four-year varsity competitor for the Trojans, he ran a personal-best time of 16:06 in the cross country 5k. Kempton was named the Team Captain as a senior and was voted all-district in his last two seasons.
"I am excited to have him in our program," Collins said. "He will undoubtedly help bring more depth to the program and, with a veteran squad returning in the fall, will have an opportunity to learn as he goes. If he adjusts to the longer distance quickly, we believe he will be a significant contributor to the team's success right away."
