LEWISTON, Idaho – The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics announced the 2022-23 Champions of Character Five-Star Award winners on Tuesday, and Lewis-Clark State College was one of 171 recipients. The Warriors earned the Silver level of the award.
 
"We are extremely grateful for this recognition from the NAIA," Athletic Director Brooke Henze said. "I am so proud of our student-athletes and coaches that made this happen."
 
Institutions are measured on a demonstrated commitment to Champions of Character and earn points in character training, conduct in competition, academic focus, character recognition and character promotion. Institutions earned points based on exceptional student-athlete grade point averages and by having minimal to no ejections during competition throughout the course of the academic year.
