LEWISTON, Idaho – The 17th annual Warrior Golf Classic, a fundraising four-person scramble sponsored by the Warrior Athletic Association, will be held Aug. 27 at the Lewiston Golf and Country Club.
 
The event, which raises money for scholarships for student-athletes and athletic programs at Lewis-Clark State College, features an 11 a.m. shotgun start with registration opening at 10 a.m.
 
As well as prizes for the overall winning team, the tournament has some new features this year. All teams will be entered into the grand prize drawing as well as have the opportunity to turn in a special golf ball at the end of the round for another drawing. There are hole-in-one prizes, including $10,000 on hole No. 16.
 
The entry fee is $125 per player, which includes, lunch, dinner, a tee prize, and other items. There's also the opportunity to purchase tickets for a wine board and a raffle.
 
Carts are not included in the entry fee. To reserve a cart, contact the LGCC pro shop at 208-746-2801.
