LC State Volleyball is back in the P1FCU Activity Center this weekend to host Multnomah (Ore.) and Warner Pacific (Ore.). The weekend is packed with fun promotions for the whole family with the help of sponsors Rogers Motors and Guardian Heating, Plumbing and Air Conditioning.
The Warriors will host the third annual Trunk-or-Treat event on Oct. 25 from 5-6:30 p.m. LC State athletic teams, campus group and Rogers Motors will have decorated trunks with treats for children and families. The entire night is sponsored by Rogers Motors.
LC State defeated Multnomah in four sets earlier this season in Portland and holds a 10-0 record against the Lions dating back to 2018. Juliauna Forgach Aguilar tallied an impressive 24 kills in the match while Esther Kailiponi filled up the stat sheet with 21 assists, 12 digs and four service aces.
Saturday is Pink Night in the P1FCU Activity Center, sponsored by Guardian Heating, Plumbing and Air Conditioning.
The Warriors are 12-0 against the Knights dating back to 2010 and swept WPU earlier this season in Portland. Forgach Aguilar led the match with 13 kills and Makenzie Stout dealt four service aces. LC State hit .333 as a team and held WPU to .054.
LC State enters the week ranked third in digs per set in the CCC (16.35). Forgach Aguilar leads the conference in total kills (380) and is second in the CCC and sixth in NAIA in kills per set (4.63). Freshman Taylor Boyce ranks eighth in the conference in kills per set (2.96), Missy Mortensen is 10th in attack percentage (.278) and Natany Felix Guimaraes is fourth in digs per set (4.77).
