LC State Volleyball will hit the road for the final time in the regular season with a tough trip against a pair of top-25 teams. The Warriors open the road swing on Friday at No. 4 Eastern Oregon before taking on No. 22 College of Idaho on Saturday. With four matches remaining in the regular season, the Warriors (13-10, 10-8) are in the hunt for a top-six seed in the Cascade Conference Tournament. 
The fifth and sixth seeds will host a CCC tournament play-in match on Nov. 12 with the seventh and eighth seeds on the road. The Warriors currently hold the No. 6 spot in the CCC and are two matches up on Oregon Tech and Walla Walla (Wash.). 
Eastern Oregon (23-2, 15-2) is the top team in the CCC heading into the week and will battle the Yotes on Tuesday. LC State is 0-12 against the Mountaineers since 2012 and fell to EOU 3-1 in Lewiston this season. The Warriors took the opening set before dropping the next three. Taylor Boyce led the Warriors with 12 kills. EOU leads the conference in opponent hitting percentage (.111) and blocks per set (2.65) and is second in hitting percentage (.235), assists per set (12.58) and kills per set (13.40). Kiauna Mack leads the CCC in blocks per set (1.70)
LC State defeated C of I (14-11, 10-7) in a thrilling five-set match in Lewiston and is 8-6 against the Yotes since 2012. Juliauna Forgach Aguilar tallied the second-most kills ever by a Warrior in a match with 32 and Boyce added 17. Karissa Lindner and Forgach Aguilar each totaled five blocks, Abbey Neff dealt 24 assists and Natany Felix Guimaraes collected 24 digs. The Warriors dealt 11 service aces compared to C of I’s three. The Yotes are third in the CCC in attack percentage (.210). Abby Draghici is third in attack percentage (.344) individually.
The Warriors are second in the conference in digs per set (16.52), led by Felix Guimaraes’ No. 4 mark of 4.88 per set. The LC State libero is third in total digs with 429. Forgach Aguilar leads the conference in total kills (395) and is second in the CCC and seventh in the NAIA in kills per set (4.54). Missy Mortensen is sixth in the CCC in hitting percentage (.306).
