CROSS COUNTRY

LC State will be in action at two different meets this week to close out the regular season with a partial squad at the Sasquatch Invite on Friday and both teams at the Great Lakes Challenge on Saturday.

The Warrior men will send a handful of runners to the Spokane Colleges’ Sasquatch Invite in Spokane on Friday to give runners a chance at one more race this season. The rest of the program will compete against some of the top teams in the NAIA in Grand Rapids, Mich., at a meet hosted by Aquinas (Mich.).

The No. 22 Warrior women and (RV) men will use the race as a final tune-up ahead of the Cascade Conference Championships, presented by U.S. Bank, on Nov. 7 in Salem, Ore. Saturday’s race will give the Warriors a chance to see what the NAIA field may look like and help build the case for each team’s bid to the national meet.
