MEN'S BASKETBALL

LC State Men’s Basketball gets the week started in a big way with the title game of the Cascade Conference Men’s Basketball Championship, presented by U.S. Bank, on Monday. The Warriors will face No. 1 College of Idaho in Caldwell at 6 p.m. PT.

WOMEN'S BASKETBALL

The No. 25 LC State Women’s Basketball team will battle for the Cascade Conference title on Tuesday on the road against No. 2 Southern Oregon. The contest is a rematch of the 2024 CCC tournament title game that SOU won in Ashland. Tipoff at SOU is set for 7 p.m.

MEN'S TENNIS

Warrior Tennis heads to Texas this week for the Texas Wesleyan Invitational in Arlington and will face four NAIA teams in the tournament. LC State enters the week with a 4-5 record on the season after a sweep on NCAA Division III Whitman.

The Warriors face No. 14 Our Lady of the Lake (Texas) to open the weekend on Thursday. The Saints won both meetings with LC State last season, both with sweeps. LC State will also face Texas A&M-Texarkana on Thursday. 

The LC State men will face another ranked team in No. 11 William Woods (Mo.) on Friday before closing out the weekend against host Texas Wesleyan. 

WOMEN'S TENNIS

The Warrior women (5-5) are coming off a pair of victories against The College of Idaho in the first NAIA matches of the season. LC State will travel to Arlington, Texas, for the Texas Wesleyan Invitational this week for four matches against more NAIA teams.

LC State opens the trip against No. 12 LSU Alexandria (La.). The Warriors fell 7-0 to LSUA last season. LC State will face LSU Shreveport (La.) on Friday, a school that defeated the Warriors twice last season, before closing day two against Kansas Wesleyan.

The Warriors will close the tournament with a match against Our Lady of the Lake (Texas) on Saturday. LC State last faced the Saints in 2023 and won 4-2. 

DANCE

Warrior Dance will host the first home duel in school history on Saturday when LC State faces off with Carroll (Mont.) for the second time this season. 

Entry is free to the competition set for Mar. 8 at 10 a.m. in the P1FCU Activity Center, and those that attend will receive a free ticket to the baseball doubleheader later that day.

LC State was edged by Carroll earlier this season in Helena 73.0-70-1. Mar. 8 marks the third and final competition for the Warriors this season. 

BASEBALL

The No. 7 LC State Baseball team hosts Eastern Oregon in the first home series of the 2025 season Mar. 8-9. The Warriors enter the weekend with a 6-7 record overall and 4-2 in CCC play while Eastern Oregon is 5-9 overall and 2-4 in conference play.

The Warriors are 26-1 against the Mountaineers since the program restarted in 2021 and have won the last 22 meetings. LC State defeated EOU by scores of 6-3, 4-3, 13-9 and 6-3 last season in Lewiston. Dominic Signorelli drove in five runs in the four-game series with two home runs on five hits and Brandon Cabrera tallied four hits. Janzten Lucas struck out five EOU batters in 2.1 innings of relief. 

Pepsi and Happy Day are the sponsors for the games this weekend. Warrior Baseball will sign posters after the doubleheader on Mar. 8 inside the front gate of Harris Field.

MEN'S GOLF

LC State Men’s Golf opens its spring season on Sunday at the three-day Bandon Crossings Collegiate in Bandon, Ore. The tournament will be match play style. More information will be available later this week.
