BASEBALL

LC State Baseball earned the No. 2 seed in the 2025 Cascade Conference Baseball Championship, presented by U.S. Bank, and will head to British Columbia for the tournament. The Warriors open the postseason against third-seeded Oregon Tech on Friday at 2:30 p.m.

TRACK & FIELD

Warrior Track and Field is in Pocatello for Idaho State’s Bengal Invitational this weekend in the final full meet of the regular season. LC State will compete May 2-3. 

Griffen Parsells and Sydnie Zywina each hit automatic standards for nationals at the Cougar Classic over the weekend. Zywina cleared a distance of 12.02m in the triple jump which ranks in the top 10 of the NAIA, while Parsells’ time of 1:49.69 ranks third. 

The Warriors will look to add to their national standards at the meet as well as conference marks ahead of the 2025 Cascade Conference Track and Field Championships, presented by U.S. Bank, May 9-10. 

WOMEN'S TENNIS

LC State Women’s Tennis will close out its 2025 season on Saturday with a match against NCAA Division III Whitman in Walla Walla. 

The Warriors defeated the Blues 6-1 in Lewiston earlier this season. LC State took all three doubles matches and earned three of the five singles victories in straight sets. The Warriors are 8-9 against Whitman since 2010. 

The contest will be the final match of the season for LC State Women’s Tennis.
