LC State Earns Eight CSC Academic All-District At-Large Honors

GREENWOOD, Ind. – Eight Lewis-Clark State Warriors earned College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District honors, with six doing so for the first time in their careers. Warrior Dance had three student-athletes earn the honor and LC State Golf had five selected.
 
The sophomore trio of Greta Boreson, Zoe Kempton and Keirstan Knutson took home their first accolades after strong second years. Boreson, who will serve as the president of LC State's Association of Student-Athletes in 2025-26, maintains a 4.00 GPA as an elementary education major. Kempton holds a 3.77 grade point average in kinesiology: exercise science, and Knuston maintains a 3.58 GPA as a nursing major. All three competed for the Warriors in every competition this season.
 
Oscar Behle of LC State Men's Golf earned the award for the second straight year. The senior graduated with a 4.00 GPA and a degree in business management, and earned All-Cascade Conference honors for the second year in a row. He averaged a score of 74.4 throughout CCC play. Luke West earned the honor in his first season being eligible with a 3.71 grade point average while studying business administration.
 
Dallis Shockey represented LC State Women's Golf with her second CSC honor. The junior holds a 3.96 GPA in business management. Chase Caruso became the third Caruso sibling to join the CSC Academic All-District list with her first honor. The sophomore has a 3.97 grade point average while studying communications. Siblings Devon and Deana also earned the honor during their careers at LC State. Isabella Barquet rounded out the group with her first CSC award. The sophomore earned All-CCC honors after she averaged a score of 77.4 during the conference season. She has a 3.63 GPA in graphic communications.
 
Dance and golf fall under the at-large category for CSC Academic All-District. To be eligible for the award, student-athletes must be at least a sophomore in standing and have at least a 3.50 cumulative grade point average. Dance student-athletes must participate in 75 percent of the team's total competitions and golfers must be in the lineup for 70 percent of an institution's team scoring events or in the lineup at the conference championship tournament.
