FRISCO, Texas – Lewis-Clark State Women's Golf led the Warrior athletic department in grade-point average for the third straight year with an impressive 3.78 in the spring. The Women's Golf Coaches Association (WGCA) rewarded four LC State women's golfers with WGCA All-American Scholar honors on Monday.
 
Dallis Shockey earned the honor for the third time in her career, while Isabella Barquet, Jane Barry and Giulia Belfontali each garnered their second award.
 
"Extremely proud of these women and their accomplishments on and off the course," coach Zach Anderson said. "It starts in the classroom and they are committed to that."
 
To be named a WGCA All-American Scholar, a student-athlete must have a cumulative GPA of 3.50 or higher and have played in 50% of the team's competitive rounds.
