Kurt Simmons enters his first season as a student assistant with the Warriors after being an integral part of back-to-back Frontier Conference Championships.
During his two-year career at LCSC Simmons earned second team All-Frontier Conference honors, averaged 74.3 strokes per round in three conference events and 75.79 per round over his 28 rounds as a senior. His career-best round was 70, which he shot four times, three as a senior. His best finish came in 2015 when he finished second at the Warner Pacific Invitational with a 217 (73-74-70).
Prior to joining the Warriors, Simmons was a team captain and earned second team All-Conference honors at Community Colleges of Spokane.
Simmons prepped at Hermiston High School where he earned four varsity letters in golf and three in basketball. The team’s No. 1 golfer for three years, Simmons led HHS to a 5A state golf title as a senior.
