Fred Noland returns for his sixth and final season as an assistant coach for the Warrior golf teams. Noland announced that he’ll be stepping away from coaching at the end of the 2016-17 season.

Noland has had a successful amateur golf career for the past 50 years. He won numerous tournaments in the Grangeville, Lewiston-Clarkston Valley and McCall areas. He has been Club Champion at Grangeville and Senior Champion at McCall. He is a member of the Clarkston Country Club.

Upon retirement, Noland and his wife of 54 years, Lila, moved to Clarkston in 2005 from Grangeville where they owned and managed Noland Funeral Home and Monty’s Motel. They have two daughters and three grandchildren.
