    Volunteer assistant Coach
Gordy Gregg enters his sixth season as a volunteer assistant coach with Lewis-Clark State College Men’s and Women’s Golf in 2025-26. Gregg coached the 2018 men’s golf team at Warner Pacific University in Portland, Ore., for one year before joining the LC State staff.
 
Gregg is a life-long valley resident of the Valley, growing up in Clarkston and moving to Lewiston to take a position with the Lewiston Fire Department in 1980. He served 31 years beginning his career as a firefighter and retiring in 2011 as Fire Chief.
 
He played all sports growing up and settled on playing college basketball at LC State from 1975 – 1977. He was part of an effort by Coach Dick Hannan to bring in local basketball talent from the primary areas surrounding the Lewis-Clark valley.
 
Gordy’s golfing experience spans five decades. Ever a student of the game, he brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to the coaching staff.
 
Gordy resides in Lewiston with his wife of 40 years, Patty. Together, they have four adult children; two daughters and two sons. Eight grandchildren bless and enrich their ever-growing family.
