Ryan LaPlante will begin his third season as the assistant coach and director of the Tennis Center in 2023-24. He was voted the ITA West Region Women's Assistant Coach of the Year in 2023.
A native of Lewiston, LaPlante graduated from Lewiston Senior High School in 2008. He played three years of tennis for the Bengals and helped lead the team to consecutive regional titles while collecting a first-place finish in doubles his senior year. LaPlante played for the Warriors in 2008-09.

Following his time at LC State, he has helped out with the Lewiston Tennis team for several seasons and taught private lessons in the Tennis Center. LaPlante has stayed involved with the tennis team at LC State by scrimmaging and assisting the team on the road.
