Bill Stevenson

Billy Stevenson played for Lewis-Clark State as a catcher in 1984-1985 and was a part of the program’s first two national championship titles. In 1985, he hit .376 with 13 home runs and 50 runs batted in to earn NAIA All-American honors. He was a member of the coaching staff for the 2015 and 2016 national champion teams and returns for the 2026.

Stevenson played two seasons at Allen Hancock JC before coming to LC State. After his career with the Warriors, he was selected in the 25th round of the 1985 draft by the San Diego Padres and played five seasons in the Minor Leagues for the Padres, New York Mets and Houston Astros organizations. He works primarily with Warrior catchers.

The Santa Maria, Calif., native  was a member of the military for 11 years before a career in education. Stevenson and his wife, Lisa, reside in Lewiston and have three children and seven grandchildren.
