Jim Klemann

Jim Klemann was named the LC State Athletic Director in the fall of 2025. At LC State, Klemann will be charged with leading 14 intercollegiate athletic NAIA programs, many of which are consistently ranked in the top 25 nationally. LC State also hosts the Avista NAIA World Series, one of the NAIA's premier national championship events.

Klemann was the athletic director at Rocky Mountain, in Billings, Mont. from 2021-25, where he oversaw a nationally competitive athletic department consisting of 15 programs, 430 student-athletes, and 35 coaches and support staff. Prior to this he served at the University of Jamestown, in Jamestown, North Dakota, from 2007-2021 in a variety of roles including assistant athletic director, director of annual giving, director of transfer admissions, and assistant baseball coach/athletic game manager.

Klemann played baseball as a student-athlete at Jamestown (N.D.) and served as an assistant coach there from 2007-11. He was a part of the school's 2008 trip to the Avista NAIA World Series.
