Samantha Malinich

Samantha Malinich enters her fourth year at Lewis-Clark State College as the Athletics’ Administrative Coordinator in 2025-26.

Malinich comes to the Warriors after working for the City of Moscow’s Parks and Recreation Department. She also recently completed her Master’s degree in Movement and Leisure Sciences at the University of Idaho. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science and Leisure Studies from Valley City State University in North Dakota. During her time at VCSU, she was a NAIA student-athlete and also worked as an intern in the Sports Information office. She then served as a volunteer assistant softball coach at NCAA Division I Idaho State University before behing named the Head Varsity Softball Coach at Moscow High School. She later served as an assistant Softball coach at NCAA DIII Farleigh Dickinson University in New Jersey. She began her career as a student-athlete at Porterville College in California.

Malinich, her husband, Clayton, and children, Payton and Jaxon, reside in Moscow, Idaho.
