P.J. Bolte of the Lewis-Clark State College men's basketball team and Warrior women's players Annie Kane and Loree Hill were named Daktronics-NAIA Division I Basketball Scholar-Athletes by the national office on Monday.
Bolte and Kane are seniors, and Hill is a junior at Lewis-Clark State.
Kane, a Kinesiology major, is receiving this honor for the second consecutive season.
Hill is majoring in Elementary Education, and Bolte is majoring in Sport Administration.
In order to be nominated by an institution's head coach or sports information director, a student-athlete must maintain a minimum grade-point average of 3.5 on a 4.0 scale and must have achieved a junior academic status.
In all, 15 men and 23 women from the Frontier Conference were named NAIA Scholar-Athletes, and 163 student-athletes (61 men, 102 women) nationwide were recognized.
