LEWISTON, Idaho – Jeff Hsiang Yu Su won three of the four matches he played, but it wasn't enough to help the Lewis-Clark State College men's tennis team as it fell to Seattle University 6-1 and then to Idaho State 7-0 at the LCSC Tennis Center on Saturday.

LCSC falls to 1-5 on the season with four of the losses now coming against NCAA Division 1 schools. All five matches have been against NCAA opponents.

After dropping the first set to Seattle's Arshak Ghazaryan, Yu Su rallied to claim a 6-7, 6-3, 10-2 victory in singles play. He then joined Ignacio Salom for a 6-3 win at No. 1 singles.

Idaho State swept all six singles matches to clinch the win, but Yu Su and Salom again picked up a doubles win with an exciting 7-6 victory.

The Warriors are back in action on Saturday, March 3, when they play host to Whitman College at 1 p.m.
