MISSOULA, Mont. –
Yonas Woldetsadik took his opponent deep into third set before he fell as the Lewis-Clark State College men's tennis team lost to the University of Montana 7-0 on Saturday.
The Warrior men are now 0-2 on the season with both losses to NCAA schools.
Woldetsadik, playing at No. 1 singles, lost the first set to his opponent 6-3, but battled back to win the second set by the same 6-3 score. The two then battled deep into the third set before Woldetsadik eventually fell 11-9.
Montana was able to sweep the remaining matches.
The Warriors will be back in action next Saturday at home at noon when they play host to Whitworth at the LCSC Tennis Center.
