BOISE, Idaho – Lewis-Clark State men's tennis team opened the 2019 season with a 7-0 loss at NCAA Division I opponent Boise State University.
Alexandre D'Aboville battled before falling 6-3, 6-4 to Jack Heslin at No. 1 singles with
William Bruchard taking Luka Soskic to a tiebreak in the first set before losing 7-6 (7-3), 6-3 at No. 2 singles. At No. 3 singles, Luca Menzes lost 6-2, 6-4 to Simon Arca Costas with
Jackson Lee losing 6-0, 6-1 at No. 4,
Roberto Salazar dropping the No. 5 singles 6-0, 6-2 and Herman Yue losing 6-0, 6-1 at No. 6.
BSU decided the match by winning the doubles point with victories at No. 2 and No. 6, which left the No. 1 doubles match tied at 4-4.
