LEWISTON, Idaho – The Lewis-Clark State men's tennis team showed a lot of improvement against the NCAA Division I Montana Grizzlies when they took a doubles matches to begin the contest. Though they put up a strong fight in singles, Montana took the match 0-7.
William Bruchard and Luca Menezes teamed up in No. 1 doubles to come away with a 6-4 win over Montana.
Bruchard and Menezes both pushed their singles match to three sets. Bruchard took the first set of his No. 2 singles match before dropping the next two close battles (4-6, 6-4, 6-3). Menezes did the same before dropping the last set in a tie-breaker (4-6, 6-1, 7-5).
