SAN DIEGO, Calif. – Lewis-Clark State College's men's tennis team won five of six singles matches and two of three doubles to top San Diego Christian 7-2 Monday afternoon and improve to 2-8 on the season, while the Warrior women fell 7-1 to drop to 4-8 this spring.
Singles winners for the men were
Alexandre d'Aboville at No. 1,
Luca Menezes at No. 3, Herman Yue at No. 4,
Larry Magalasin at No. 5 and
Marcus Gavelin with a decision by default at No. 6. D'Aboville teamed with
Jackson Lee to win No. 2 doubles, with Magalasin and Gavelin earning the No. 3 point by default.
The women's points were both by default – at No. 6 singles and No. 3 doubles.
LC plays Biola Tuesday before heading east for a series of matches in Louisiana and Alabama.
