NEW ORLEANS, La. – The University of Mobile swept the Lewis-Clark State tennis teams with the men falling 6-1 and the women losing 5-2.
Alexandra Berry at No. 5 and
Kyla Collier at No. 6 singles both won their matches. Collier also teamed with
Sophie Uhlenkott to win at No. 3 doubles but, because of the use of NCAA scoring, the doubles point when to Mobile.
Berry swept by Anna Canton 6-0, 6-0, while Collier won 6-2, 6-0 over Daniela Andrade. Collier and Uhlenkott won their doubles match 6-1.
Larry Magalasin picked up the lone point for the Warrior men with his 2-6, 6-0, 11-9 victory at No. 6 singles.
Alexandre d'Aboville and
William Bruchard won at No. 2 doubles but the doubles point went to Mobile because of its decisions at No. 1 and No. 3.
