LEWISTON, Idaho – The Lewis-Clark State baseball team beat the rain in game one of the scheduled doubleheader, but was forced to postpone game three of the series until Sunday. Led by four hits from

Hammergren held the College of Idaho hitless through his first four innings before surrendering a hit and a run in the top of the fifth. He closed out his day after the fifth, tallying six strikeouts, two walks and one hit.
In the Warriors' half of the fifth the bats came alive yet again. Callahan singled to and stole second before

Caden Goldby, and LC led 10-1 after five.
Rian Bassett took over on the mound in the sixth inning and allowed three runs before being lifted for
Greg Blackman.
Jesus Duran launched his first home run of the season with a solo shot to left center in the bottom of the sixth. The Yotes scratched one more across in the eighth, but Blackman sat them down in order in the ninth to close out the game.
