Women's Basketball | 10.16.2020

Lewiston, IdahoBrian Orr announced the signing of the latest addition to the Lewis-Clark State Women's Basketball Team in Audrey Miller. A native of Adair Village, Ore., Miller is a senior at Santiam Christian High School. The 5-11 guard/forward will join the Warriors next season.

"I chose LC State because it feels like home," Miller explained. "I love the culture and the people."

As a junior, Miller was voted the 3A Mountain Valley Conference Player of the Year, as well as first-team all-league and Second-Team All-State. She was the MVP of the Beau Classic tournament, and was on the all-tournament team at the Dayton Christmas Tournament and the Cascade Christian Christmas Classic. She helped her team to an 18-8 record and an appearance in the State tournament. She averaged 13.5 points, 5,2 rebounds, 2.3 assists, 2.9 steals and 1.5 blocks per game.

She was voted first-team all-league as a sophomore, and was also a member of the Cascade Christian Christmas Classic All-Tournament Team. She was all-league honorable mention as a freshman.

A two-sport athlete, Miller also plays soccer at Santiam Christian and had been first-team all-league in every season.

"We are very excited to be adding Audrey to next year's roster," Head Coach Brian Orr said. "She is an extremely versatile player whose length and athleticism will allow her to play 2-4 for our team. She has the ability to stretch the defense with the 3 or get to the rim off the dribble. She has excellent court vision, a high basketball IQ and will be a perfect fit for our system."

The Warrior women open the 2020-21 season at home with back-to-back contests against former conference foe Carroll College on Nov. 14 and 15.
