Warrior Volleyball opens up a five-match road stretch on Tuesday against Walla Walla in College Place, Wash. Every team LC will face on the trip is a team that the Warriors defeated in the first half of conference play at home, and they will look to do the same on the road.
The Warriors open the week on Tuesday with a 7 p.m. match against the Walla Walla Wolves. LC's most dominant victory this season came against WWU when the Warriors closed out the match with a 25-2 win in the third set. Kenzie Dean served 22 times in a row without an error to help end the set.
The Warriors made quick work of Evergreen State in Lewiston, sweeping them by scores of 25-12, 25-14, 25-14. Cassidy Nelson was dominant with 19 kills in the match. Northwest took the Warriors to five sets in the last meeting, and it was LC that emerged victorious. Nelson led with 17 kills and Dean had 21 digs. Both were named conference athletes of the week.
