NEW ORLEANS – LC State Tennis faced some of the top teams in the country on Saturday to end its trip to New Orleans. The Warriors started the day with contest against the University of Mobile before taking on Loyola University of New Orleans in the afternoon. Both teams dropped both matches.
 
Women's Match One: Mobile def. LC State 4-2
The Warrior women picked up two singles win in their match against No. 18 Mobile on Saturday morning. Begona Andres took her opponent to three sets before earning the victory in No. 1 singles (6-3, 1-6, 6-0). Alexis Maison earned her win quickly in No. 4 singles (6-1, 6-1).

Men's Match One: Mobile def. LC State 4-1
The No. 24 Warrior men faced a strong team in No. 12 Mobile. Itaru Kikuchi in No. 2 singles was the highlight of the match with his victory. Moosa Choudhary took his opponent to three sets before falling in the sixth singles spot.

Women's Match Two: Loyola def. LC State 6-1
Though the Warrior women lost the doubles point against No. 21 Loyola, all was not lost thanks to a victory by Sophie Uhlenkott and Alexis Maison in the second slot (6-4). Alexandra Barry picked up a win in No. 3 singles after winning a three-set battle. She dropped the first set before taking the next two, including a tiebreaker in the third (2-6, 6-4, 11-9).

Men's Match Two: Loyola def. LC State 5-2
Kikuchi and William Bruchard had a strong match. The duo teamed up to take the No. 1 singles match 6-4, though LC did not earn the doubles point due to falling in the other two. Bruchard took the No. 1 singles match in three sets after dropping the first. He came back to earn a 3-6, 6-2, 7-6 (4) victory. Kikuchi earned his second No. 2 singles win of the day with a dominant 6-1, 6-0 win over his opponent.
