CLEVELAND – Lewis-Clark State College finished the 2021-22 academic year ranked 31^st in the final LEARFIELD Directors' Cup standings with 427.50 points. The Warriors were the third-highest ranked Cascade Conference team in this year's standings.
 
LC State earned 188.50 points in the spring, 120.50 in the fall and 118.50 in the winter. The Warriors saw eight of its 12 teams send representatives to nationals, with a baseball leading the way with a National Runner-Up finish at the Avista NAIA World Series to earn 90 points. Men's track and field placed 10^th at outdoor nationals to earn 66 points, and women's track and field was 38^th and brought in 32.5 points.
 
Men's cross country brought in 73.5 points for LC State in the fall with a sixth-place finish as nationals, while the Warrior women earned 47 with a 27^th-place mark.
 
In the winter sports, women's basketball reached the championships game of its Opening Round and was ranked No. 17 in the final poll to bring in 50 points. Men's indoor track and field placed 30^th for 43.5 points, and men's basketball finished 33^rd for 25 points.
 
Overall, 13 sports are counted in the final NAIA standings, four of which must be men's basketball, men's soccer, women's basketball and women's volleyball. The next highest (9 max.) sports scored for each institution, regardless of gender, are used in the standings.
