Lewis-Clark State Volleyball got off to a strong 4-1 start on the 2022 season with four wins in Northern California. The Warriors defeated William Jessup (Calif.), Pacific Union (Calif.), Simpson (Calif.) and Menlo (Calif.) before falling to UC Merced in five set.
The time on the road continues for LC State as the Warriors open Cascade Conference play on Friday at Walla Walla University (Wash.). LC has not dropped a set to the Wolves in the last eight meetings dating back to 2010. The largest margin of victory in a set last season came at home against Walla Walla by a score of 25-2. Kenzie Dean served five aces during a 22-point run to close out the match, and Josie Peters had eight kills.
