LAWRENCEVILLE, Ga. – The (RV) Lewis-Clark State Men's Tennis team battled the elements and a tough opponent but fell in defeat 5-2 to No. 6 Middle Georgia State on Thursday.
The loss drops the Warriors to under .500 with a 3-4 record.
Maksim Matyrnyi earned a victory in No. 6 singles against Samyak Bajarchary 7-6, 7-5.
Dan Felker was credited with a win in No. 1 singles after Mariano Jalif had to withdraw due to an injury.
Declan Townsend battled back after losing the opening set in No. 2 singles to Adria Pratdepadua, but lost in three 6-4, 2-6, 7-5.
Townsend teamed up with
Itaru Kikuchi in No. 2 doubles for a 6-3 win over Naufal Kamaruzzaman and Pratdepadua.
