MOSCOW, Idaho – Sophomore Rafael Bonnet de Larbogne opened the 2025 LC State Men's Tennis season with a singles win over his opponent from NCAA Division I Idaho on Saturday. The victory scored the lone point for the Warriors in their 6-1 loss to the Vandals in Moscow.
 
The freshman duo of Pablo Herrera and Giacomo Moreira battled in their No. 1 doubles match before falling 6-4. Alvaro Camino and Nell Rollin finished with the same score in No. 3 doubles, while senior Austin Swing and freshman Gautam Balakrishnan dropped their No. 2 matchup 6-3.
 
Bonnet de Larbogne won his No. 6 singles match with a three-set battle. He dropped the opening frame 6-3 and bounced back for a 6-2 win in the second set. A tie-breaker decided set three which the sophomore won 10-5.
 
Moreira put up a strong fight in the No. 3 slot where he lost 6-3, 6-4. Rollin, playing in the No. 4 spot, pushed his first set to a tiebreak before dropping the match 7-6(7), 6-1.
