CORVALLIS, Ore. – Lewis-Clark State Athletics had 24 student-athletes earn fall U.S. Bank Academic All-Cascade honors, announced by the conference office on Tuesday. Men's cross country and volleyball each had nine student-athletes earn recognition and six women's cross country runners met the criteria.
To earn recognition as an All-CCC Academic honoree, a student-athlete must have a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.2, be a sophomore in standing and have been identified with the institution for two full semesters.
"I am proud of our Warrior student-athletes as they continue to champion excellence in the classroom," athletic director
Jim Klemann said. "We are grateful for the support of our faculty and staff that work tirelessly to develop and grow our students."

Alexander Fry,
Trenton Johnson,
Christian Lybyer,
Tristin O'Brien,
Clay Shumaker,
Ben Vernon and
Kobe Wessels all earned the honor along with sophomore
Manuel Valdez to represent men's cross country.
Volleyball's senior trio of
Abby Beaton,
Juliauna Forgach Aguilar and
Esther Kailiponi all met the criteria, as did junior
Makenzie Stout and sophomores
Taylor Boyce,
Kate Schneider,
Teagan Scott and
Ella Stosich.
Women's cross country was represented by seniors
Grace Tiegs,
Camille Ussher,
Madigan Kelly and
Emily Collins. Sophomores
Lily Bennett and
Leila Flannery also earned the honor.
