LEWISTON, Idaho – No. 24 LC State Men's Tennis wrapped up the home portion of its schedule on Saturday with a 7-0 loss to NCAA Division I Northern Arizona.
The Lumberjacks swept doubles play to earn the first point of the contest.
Each singles contest was played in straight sets, with
Austin Swing putting together the most competitive match. In his final home match as a Warrior, the senior pushed his first set into a tiebreaker before falling 7-6(7-3), 6-3 in No. 4 singles.
Freshman
Cesar Coloma pushed his No. 6 singles match with a strong second set. He fell 6-1, 7-6(8-6).
UP NEXT
The Warriors travel to Whitman on Apr. 12 to face the Blues in the regular season finale. Postseason play begins Apr. 17 in San Antonio, Texas, as the NAIA Unaffiliated Group Tournament.
