SPOKANE, Wash.– Cooper Bell had a strong Warrior debut on Saturday when he led the LC State Men's Cross Country Team at the Whitworth Frank Knott XC Classic. The transfer finished 57

The men finished in the middle of the pack despite missing key pieces due to injury.
"At some point we will hopefully have a full squad," coach Mike Collins said. "But we finally got Cooper in the lineup and he definitely stepped up today and led the team, which is really exciting for us. Despite missing guys, I felt we ran pretty well today. We looked a little tired, which we'll work on that and see what we need to do to fix that, but we're seeing guys continue to improve."
Bell crossed the line 57
th with a time of 25:35.2, a career best, and
Malachi Walsh was not far behind in 65

The next four Warrior runners all ran personal bests.
Zoran LaFrombois was the third LC State athlete across the finish line in 79

Cole Wilkerson finished 91

"Cole and Fin are getting closer to the front," Collins added. "Malachi continues to race well, Zoran is sticking right in there and keeping us solid as well. So we've got a good team race going."
Junior

rd (27:27.3).
Benjamin Farr was 168
