KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Lewis-Clark State had 46 spring student-athletes earn NAIA Scholar-Athlete honors, announced by the national office on Wednesday.
To qualify as an NAIA Scholar-Athlete, students must maintain a minimum cumulative grade point average of 3.5 on a 4.0 scale and have attended their institution for at least one full year.
"This group of Warriors represents the 'Warrior Way' and exemplifies excellence not only on the field, but also in the classroom," Athletic Director
Jim Klemann said. "Their dedication, perseverance and commitment to being a student-athletes is something to be celebrated."
Men's and women's track and field combined for 22 honorees and baseball earned four. LC State Tennis combined for 10 total honors as did golf.
