Biography

COLLEGE: Played outfield and DH at the Division 1 school last year and started 28 games…Hit .216 (19-of-88) with three doubles and three RBI…Scored 17 runs…Spent two injury-plagued years at College of San Mateo as an infielder before transferring to Western Michigan…After shoulder surgery delayed start to college career, he had a fairly solid 2014 season…Hit .354 (35-of-99) with four doubles and three triples…Tied for team high in RBI with 24 and stole three bases…Also made one appearance on the mound and pitched two-thirds on an inning. Struck out one and walked two…Was rolling in 2015 leading the team with .351 batting average when he suffered a separated shoulder and had to have another shoulder surgery…Finished the year 27-of-77 at the plate with four doubles, one triple, 17 RBI and three stolen bases.
 
High School: Two-sport athlete in high school, earning letters in baseball and basketball… led team to state tournament in 2012 and a conference championship in 2011… named First Team All-Pacific Athletic League as a senior in 2013, as well as second team all-county… named the Sophomore of the Year in San Mateo county in 2011, earning first team all-county and all-league honors.
