Jenkins enters his first season at Lewis-Clark State College 2022-23 after experiencing success at The Master’s University in Southern California as an assistant coach and college player. During his five years on the Mustang staff, he helped coached TMU to a 91-30 overall record with two NAIA national tournament appearances. During that time, the team won a GSAC regular season and GSAC Tournament title. In 2018, he helped Santa Clarita Christian School to a California Division 5 State Championship as an assistant coach.
During his playing career, Jenkins started at point guard for three years at The Master’s University after redshirting for one year at Cal State San Bernardino. He was a member of the Mustang team in 2016-17 that made the program's first trip to the NAIA national tournament since 2000 and finished the year 27-5. Jenkins graduated from The Master’s University in 2016 with a bachelor's degree in Kinesiology and an emphasis in Teaching/Coaching, as well as two master’s degrees from TMU in Biblical Counseling and Education. He is married to Hannah Jenkins who is a former basketball player and NAIA All-American. The two welcomed their first child, a daughter, Hadley, in October.
