Payton Hymas enters her first season as an assistant coach for LC State Women's Basketball in 2026-27 after a four-year career for the Warriors.
Hymas earned a Bachelors of Science in kinesiology and a certificate in sports nutrition in 2026 and is pursuing a Masters Certificate in sports coaching at LC State. She appeared in 102 games for the Warriors from 2022-26 and totaled 962 points in her career. A key playmaker for LC State, she amassed 327 assists and 168 steals. She earned All-Cascade Conference honors twice in her career to go with NAIA Scholar-Athlete, CSC Academic All-District and Academic All-Cascade Conference accolades.
