Dante Frattini enters his first season at Lewis-Clark State College as the assistant volleyball coach in 2022-23 following an eight-year career at the junior college ranks.
Most recently, Frattini led the Eastern Wyoming College Lancers (Torrington, Wyo.) to three straight winning seasons, including a trip to the Region IX Tournament title game in 2021. During his time at EWC the Lancers were ranked as high as No. 12 in the nation and won 25 games in his first year with the program. In three seasons the Lancers were awarded one Region IX-North Player of the Year (2019), one Region IX-North Libero of the Year (2020) and two Region IX-North Freshman Players of the Year (2019, 2021).
Prior to EWC, Frattini was the head coach of Lamar Community College (Lamar, Colo.) from 2016-2019. During that time the Lopes experienced three of their most successful seasons on record. The Lopes beat a nationally ranked opponent for the first time on record and had a player named NJCAA National Player of the Week. The Lopes were awarded Region IX-South Libero of the Year in 2016.
Frattini got his start in coaching at Northwest College in Powell, Wyo., where he served as the assistant for Shaun Pohlman’s Trappers for the 2014 and 2015 seasons.
Frattini graduated from Sacramento State with a Bachelor’s of Arts in Journalism with a minor in Philosophy.
