Drew Choules will begin her second season with the Warriors in 2022. Prior to joining the LC State program, she spent the last four years as the assistant volleyball coach at nationally-ranked University of Providence in Great Falls, Mont. where she helped the Argos to a 91-32 record with three consecutive appearances at the NAIA National Tournament. Providence won the Frontier Conference Tournament Championship in three of her four years with the program, and the 2018 Argos were named Champions of Character at the national tournament.

Choules was named the Frontier Conference Assistant Coach of the Year in 2019 & 2020 and the American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) Northwest Region Assistant Coach of the Year in those years as well.

Before joining the University of Providence program, Choules was the head volleyball coach at Eagle High School and Declo High School in Idaho. She coached several years of club volleyball in Idaho and brings over 16 years of coaching experience to the Warrior program.

Choules’ experience extends further in the Special Olympics where she was the Senior Manager of the Healthy Athletes for Special Olympics North America. The Healthy Athletes program provides health screenings across seven health areas. She managed the program for all local Special Olympics programs within Canada, the U.S., and the Caribbean and oversaw all budget and grants, planned all regional training events for all volunteer clinicians/physicians, held quarterly webinars to introduce new policies and procedures to local programs, and had regular communication with local program staff to provide guidance on training, equipment needs, general questions, and event planning and support.

As a player, Choules competed at Colorado Mesa University (NCAA DII) where she was a four-year starter and three-year team captain. During her time at CMU, she was a three-time all-region award recipient, four-time all-conference selection, and the 2004 RMAC Freshman of the Year.

Choules is from southern Idaho and has a bulldog named Abby.
