Lewis-Clark State College Athletics

Thompson is a 5-6 libero who is transferring from College of Southern Idaho. She received All-Region both seasons. She was also part of the team that won the school's 11th national title.
 
"I chose to continue my education while playing volleyball at LC because I love the community and I feel I will fit in perfectly with coach LaToya and the team," Thompson said. "While playing on the court with the team for a couple hours I already felt like this is where I wanted to be."
 
Coach Harris added, "We are thrilled to have Luana as a Warrior. Signing her just raised our backrow to another level.  She has such a strong, positive, relentless, fun energetic personality and competitive attitude on the court that is contagious. Luana is exactly what I am looking for to strengthen our back court. Her serve receive is solid and we will be able to run our offense consistently from her control. 
 
"During her visit she was able to be herself and opened up to the players and the coaching staff as if she was already on the team. Right then I knew she would be a perfect fit.  Luana received looks from Division 1 Universities and to snag her is a huge step forward to our goal."
