COLLEGE: Pitched in eight games with four starts for the Big Sky school…Went 1-0 with a 5.51 ERA…Pitched 16.1 innings and led the staff with a .148 opponents’ batting average….Allowed only eight hits…Struck out 13, but walked 21…Team went 4-0 in his four starts…Spent freshman year at College of San Mateo…Saw action in 12 games and started 11…Held opponents to a .231 batting average and posted a 2-1 record with a 4.12 ERA…Originally signed with Loyola Marymount out of high school but had to medical redshirt his freshman year.
 
HIGH SCHOOL: Played four years for coach Craig Giannino at Junipero Serra HS...Named the 2013 West Coast Athletic League (WCAL) Pitcher of the Year with an 8-3 record and 1.86 ERA as a senior...Also named to the Rawlings all-State team and was a Northern California all-CIF selection...Led team to 2012 and 2013 WCAL championships...Threw a no-hitter in the playoffs as a senior, one of three shutouts in his senior year...Also played tight end for the Serra football team for two years and played one season of basketball.
