Box Score LAWRENCEVILLE, Ga. – The LCSC baseball team couldn't overcome a 4-run first inning as they fell to Indiana Tech 7-5 on Saturday.
With the loss, the Warriors fall to 10-6 and 2-2 on their current road trip. Indiana Tech improves to 14-4.
Indiana Tech got on the board early and often with four runs in the first and one in the second to take a quick 5-0 lead over the Warriors. LCSC cut the deficit to one after two runs in the second and third innings.
Two RBI groundouts in the second and a 2-run homer from
Seaver Whalen got LCSC back in the game.
Tech added runs in the fourth and fifth to take a 7-4 lead.
Raymond Pedrina ended a six-inning scoreless drought with an RBI single in the ninth to attempt the comeback but the Warriors fell short. LC left runners on the corners when the final out was recorded.

Matt Fish lasted four innings after giving up 10 runs on six hits while striking out five.
Christian Jarnagin made his season debut in an inning of relief.
Daulton Blackwell finished out the pitching for the Warriors.
Brock Ephan led the Warriors in hits with three.
These two teams will play a rematch game tomorrow at 7 a.m. to finish up the road trip.
