Box Score 2 LEWISTON, Idaho – After a marathon of a game in the first leg of the doubleheader in which the Warriors lost, LCSC made quick work of Corban in Game 2 splitting the doubleheader Saturday at Harris Field.
LCSC lost Game 1 6-5 in 11 innings and won Game 2, 6-0. With the split, LCSC is now 16-9 on the season and 7-4 in NAIA West play. Corban sits at 10-17 on the year and 4-10 in conference.
In Game 1, both teams were held scoreless for the first four innings. Corban was the first team to crack the scoreboard in the fifth with three runs. They added a run in the sixth for a 4-0 advantage.
J.J. Robinson tallied an RBI groundout in the bottom half of the inning to cut the deficit to three.
In dramatic fashion, the Warriors scored three runs in the bottom of the ninth to force extra innings.
Evan Douglas hit an RBI double for LCSC's second run of the game. A run off an error and a Cooper Goldy double to right center tied the game for the Warriors.
Corban added two in the 11th for a 6-4 lead.

Gunnar Buhner to make it 6-5. But it wasn't enough to overcome.

Gage Burland lasted 4.1 innings allowing five hits, four walks and four strikeouts.
Anthony Balderas was credited with the loss in relief. He threw 5.0 innings with five strikeouts, allowing just three hits.
The game was delayed twice due to rain. Total game time was 4 hours 58 minutes.
Game 2 started off just like the first with both pitchers in a groove in the early going.
Through the first five innings, the game remained scoreless. LCSC took the lead for the first time of the day with a run in the sixth.
Seaver Whalen hit an RBI double down the left field line to score
Raymond Pedrina.
Pedrina hit a 2 RBI single in the seventh and an RBI groundout made up for the runs in the seventh.
In the eighth,
Marten Pauwels hit his first homer of the year, a 2-run shot to straightaway center field to increase LCSC's lead to 6-0.
Pedrina led the team going 4-5 with 2 RBI and a run.
Matt Fish started for LCSC throwing seven innings and earning the win. He only gave up three hits and struck out four.
Henry McAree threw two innings of relief for the Warriors.
The two teams will square off against each other tomorrow starting at 11 a.m. in a doubleheader.
