LEWISTON, Idaho - Lewis-Clark State College's top-ranked baseball team is back on the field this weekend for a four-game series with Concordia. The first game is Friday at 3 p.m. with a noon doubleheader Saturday and a noon single game on Sunday.
The Warriors are off to a 2-0 start after sweeping Central Washington last weekend, while Concordia opens the 2018 campaign with Friday's game.
LC coach
Jeremiah Robbins had a good first look at his team as it tallied 21 runs in the season-openers, while yielding six. He said 2018 likely would be a season with pitching by committee and that held true last weekend with eight pitchers - four in each game, seeing action. In the field, a blend of newcomers and veterans are battling to solidify roles.
